Bespoke plywood and leather round furniture, made to order, low-cost

From our standard range, this seating unit features a durable brown faux leather cushion. Not too firm, not too soft, the cushion is very comfortable to seat on, for those occasions when you run out of seats! Alternatively use as a pouffe, put your feet up, kick back and relax.
The foam cushion springs back to shape after compression, ensuring it retains that as 'new' appearance.
Designed with practicality in mind, the seat is removable giving access to the internal storage. Ideal for hiding those magazines and newspapers (which always seem to multiply!).
The main body of the unit is plywood, chosen for its strength and characterful appearance. The unit itself is made from 80 near identical wood components, all layered and fastened with Ovols own long-bolts. Why do we do this? After months of research and development this method produced a more efficient, stronger design, one which few companies offer. With each unit weighing approx. 8-10kg, you can certainly feel the quality.
The plywood is clear lacquered for longevity, to help make the unit more practical for households.
At the base of the stool, 3 threaded studs span the void, providing a grating for the internal storage (see photo). Please note small items stored within the unit may not be contained.
Finally, each unit has 3 dark brown plastic feet to rest on. This helps stability on uneven floors. Plastic feet work well on hard floors, in addition to vinyl or carpet.

To summarise, a lot of design thought and careful assembly goes into each and every unit we produce. The result is a unique, exclusive (we produce less than 300 units per annum), strong, high quality item. Please don't compare our item with cheaper mass-produced alternatives.
